Agnieszka was born and raised in Szczecin, Poland. She moved to Germany to study Molecular Life Science in the beautiful city of Lübeck. Besides marzipan and the Baltic sea, she discovered there her love for computational biology. As a result, she wrote her Bachelor’s thesis on the differences in the unfolding processes of proteins using molecular modelling. After that, seeking for more sun, Agnieszka moved to Freiburg and started her Master’s Degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics. Currently, she is doing her Master’s thesis in the Hilbert Lab, investigating the aggregation of eukaryotic RNA polymerase II.
